LNA’s Hipster Chic Style Hits Bermuda

Has hipster chic finally reached our shores?
Thanks to new boutique “Lovit,” a little bit of celebrity style will be available locally.

For those of you craving the laid back, toned down, urban look that's taken over most of the US and Canada (hi - when you see Lil'Wayne trading in those big and baggies for skinnies, suspenders and a deep V, you know it's huge) here comes LnA.

Available starting this week from Lovit Boutique (www.lovitboutique.com), the relatively new label to hit the scene has made giant splashes in the industry, and has a HUGE star following. Let's call it upscale American Apparel (with less of the pretentiousness and all of the absolute effortless cool).

Founded in the summer of 2007 by Californians Lauren Alexander and April Leight (LnA, get it?), the label was first started with the simple idea of creating the perfect men's tee for women. With all the fuss over their first collection, the dynamic duo decided to expand the line, which now includes everything from Lace Tee's to their signature Zipper Legging.

These girls are every, every, everywhere right now. And everybody who's anybody on the fashion radar is rocking a pair of LnA leggings. Their famous followers include but definitely aren't limited to Nicole Richie, Robert Pattinson (with a guy like him on their side, who can't go anywhere without being flash mobbed and photographed til he's blue in the face, who needs advertising?), Brad Pitt, Rihanna, Beyonce, Kate Moss....we could go on and on. Even Gavin Rossdale loves them so much they got a free ticket to one of his shows! If that's not hitting the big time, what is?

Bermudians might not take the hipster vibe as far as it can go but the made-to-layer simplicity of the designs make for easy everyday wear.
