Hello my darlings… its now that time for another edition of the Fab Files. I’m so excited this week because I get to start off with one of my favorite chicks in the game right now…Ms. Keri Baby!
Fab Files darling, Keri Hilson, is finally getting some shine. She recently did a photo shoot with OK! Magazine and she’s looking FAB as usual…
Here’s a lil sneak peak of her interview:
Keri Hilson has it all going for her. At 27-years-old she is already an accomplished songwriter, writing hits for Britney Spears and Mary J. Blige, and now she is being recognized for her singing ability as a famed recording artist. Keri received two Grammy nominations — Best New Artist and Best Rap/Song Collaboration for “Knock You Down” featuring Kanye West and Ne-Yo.
At a photo shoot with OK! the lovely, lively songstress says she is low maintenance, while modeling some top fashions. “I think sex appeal is all about confidence,” Keri tells OK!
Keri always looks in shape, but she admits to OK! that she does not have a big exercise routine, “I used to be a national swimmer when I was 14,” she said explaining her toned, lean physique.
Even though she does not work out, Keri said eating healthy is an important part of felling good.
So what will Keri be wearing on the Grammy red carpet? “I really don’t know yet,” she says. “I guess my aim would be to stand out. I want it to be kind of the humble approach of being at the Grammys for the first time, first album. So I want that, something great but not something like ‘I’m here. I’ve arrived.’
The Grammy’s air this Sunday on CBS.

A Pretty Mess
I neglected to report on this story before because… well… I didn’t really care. But now it has taken an ugly turn, so I was forced to give it some attention. In short, Tisha Campbell’s lil sister had a one night stand with homeboy in the pic, Diamond Blue, (J.E.S.U.S.), from Pretty Ricky and then she had a baby. I would say I can't see the attraction, but I’ve seen him not so “GLAM’D” up, (How YOU durn) before, and he’s a cutie. (I’ll find a pic for you later). Anywho – he denied the child stating, "they only did it once and it was a one-night stand. Just typing that gave me a damn headache!"
So the story takes its turn here… Tiara Campbell gave birth 5 months early and the baby nearly died in the process. Luckily, she survived and is actually doing well, so congrats to her.
I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing them on the next season of Maury. By the way… the baby’s name is Nina Minaji Campbell. I just can’t.
No More Ugly Betty
Unfortunately, Ugly Betty has run its course on ABC. Apparently the ratings have been down for the past couple of seasons so they must now bid ado. I feel kind of guilty because I used to be addicted to this show, and I kinda fell off myself. I think I got tired of the same storyline each week… and I think I patiently waited long enough for her to not be “ugly” anymore! I mean seriously… NO ONE wears braces for that long! Sorry… I had a moment. I will miss the fashion though… especially Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams) who’s currently giving us the business in those mink cuffs above!
The Preacher’s Kid Premier
Our girl Letoya Luckett is featured as the lead role in the all-star film, The Preacher’s Kid, which is set to debut this month. I’m just hoping that it makes it to Bermy… I’ll have the preview for the flick later in the post, but for now let’s look at all the celebs that showed up looking FAB…
Go Toya! Such a pretty girl… and I’m glad she’s found her way since Destiny’s Child.

Season 2 of the BET Reality Show, “Tiny & Toya,” is set to run in April and I can’t wait! I feel like I grew close to these girls in season one. They have a lot of things about to pop off, PLUS T.I. is out so things might get juicy! Ow!
